Artwork is of a watercolour painting capturing the well loved view of the famous "lonely tree" which appears to emerge out of Llyn Padarn, with dramatic views of Llanberis pass in the background. The background mountains of Glyderau (The Glyders) and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) frame the tree in the centre, making this such a picturesque view.
This particular illustration was inspired by an icy morning dip where the morning sky and mountains of Eryri were beautifully reflected in the mill-pond still waters of Padarn lake. The card is for those who love a bit of wild swimming in mind!
