Art Print of "The Seven Sevens", Mourne Mountains, Co. Down, Northern Ireland.
Print offered in A4 size...and now a new A3 size!
(A3 paper stock different to A4 Print- Please see "Product Info" for details).
Black and White Illustration featuring the seven tallest mountains in the Mourne Mts, Co.Down. These mountains also make up the Seven Sevens trail challenge, where people challenge themselves to climb these mountains within a day, often raising money for charity.
Using line and mark-makings to capture these mountain profiles, each with their own unique qualities.
The print also features:
- each mountains elevation in metres AOD (meaning above sea level)
- hand-rendered text in which I title each mountain as well as a rough translation of its meaning...
my favourite one being "Slieve Lamagan" which roughly translates as "by hands and feet" an apt description of the slog it is to climb!
Would make for a an ideal gift for those who wish to commemorate The Seven Sevens challenge, as well as for those who simply enjoy hiking and love the Mourne Mountains!
